I love typos in headlines...

This from a SPAM email today... not a great first impression!

TECHNOLOGY NEWS
Now apply for job ads from you mobile.

Announcing a revolutionary new way for those looking for work to receive and importantly apply for jobs from their mobile phone by simple sms.

A new job ad system is attracting great interest and threatens to to do for web based job advertising what the internet did for old fashion print ads. Job Seekers can now register once at www.smsthejob.com.au , choose their job preferences and upload their resume. They then receive job ads broadcast directly to their mobile phones free of charge.

If one of the sms job ads is of interest then a simple "reply" sms, quoting the job reference sent with the ad, will cause the job seekers resume to be professionally forwarded to the advertiser's email address as an application for their role.

On and on it went, oblivious that they lost me from the headline onwards...

  1. What I love about this Charlie is that, in your bourgeois grammatical haste to poke fun at someone's typo, you're essentially assisting spread what you label SPAM. But, full kudos to you and your life mission - doing things like this for SPAMMERS will mean they never go bankrupt. Go Charlie!
